Vacuum Pump, Water Ring Type

Gawade High Vacuum Rotary Pumps offers water ring vacuum pumps. These are used where oil sealed vacuum pumps cannot be used due to aggressive gases and vapours of chemicals. These vacuum pumps are simple in operation and give trouble free performance as the internal moving part is just one - the impeller. The main casing of this pump is cylindrical with control disc on either side. Within this the impeller is located with curved blades. Outside liquid is introduced in the pump and due to high revolutions of the impeller, air or gas is drawn into this space through the suction and is compressed out similarly through exhaust, along with the introduced liquid. Hence these vacuum pumps are widely used for handling moisture, dust laden gases and corrosive fumes without difficulties. Construction material for main casing and side covers is high grade cast iron. Impeller and control discs are made of cast iron, bronze or stainless steel. Impeller shaft is of stainless steel or of EN-8 material.
