There are five operating modes available consisting of infusion, withdrawal, infusion then withdrawal and withdrawal then infusion. Also features independent rate and volume settings for infusion and withdrawal plus independent rate and volume settings for both infusion and withdrawal. The units can be controlled with built-in RS232C interface for computer "daisy chaining" up to 100 pumps.
