Submersible Pump, M500 Series from Mody Pumps

Compete Tools Pvt Ltd offers a portable electric Submersible Pump from Mody Pumps, Model M500 Series, for corrosive and abrasive applications. These pumps are found in an increasing number of lift stations around the world with a potential for solids agglomeration, cavitation, and other challenges in every intended application. The motor in this series is a 2-pole induction continuous rated motor with squirrel cage rotor. The speed is 3400 RPM @ 60 Hz, 2800 RPM @ 50 Hz and the power rating 35 HP @ 60 Hz, 26 kW @ 50 Hz full load. The maximum temperature of the pump liquid is 104°F/40°C and the maximum start/stop per hour is 15. The power supply is 3-phase, 50/60 Hz, AC supply and is available in any voltage frequency combination (380/415/460/575/1000 V). The ball bearing is a single row deep groove upper bearing and double angular contact lower bearings. The bearings are enclosed with high temperature grease-containing special anti-corrosion additive. The power cable is waterproof/oil proof, rubber-insulated, neoprene-sheathed copper conductor flexible cable, 50 ft (15 m) length standard. The pump is capable of submergence below liquid surface min 5” (127 mm) max 50’ (15 m). Other pumps available are M500 Series, M700 Series, M800 Series, M900 Series and NC Series. The M-500/530/550 Series have certain design advantages: stainless steel strainer, shaft, impeller, outlet and hardware is used for maximum corrosion resistance. Nitride hardened SS 410 is used for abrasive applications. Tandem tungsten carbide/tungsten carbide and tungsten carbide/tungsten carbide mechanical seals in wholly enclosed pressure are used.
