Description:
Heavy-duty armoured centrifugal pump; axial inlet and overhung mounted impeller; twin casing design; outer casing in cast iron/WCB withstands the working pressure; inner casing in Ni hard material takes all the wear and tear; and up on overhauling only the inner casing and wear plates to be replaced.

Models:
Capacity – up to 1000 m3/hr; total head – up to 50 m; speed – up to 1500 RPM; working pressure – up to 25 kg/cm²; working temperature – 110°C; sizes – 3” to 10”; direction of rotation – clock wise when viewed from drive end – standard/anti-clock wise optional; outer casing hydrostatic pressure – 25 kg/cm² with cast iron, 40 kg/cm² with WCB.

Flange positions
Delivery flange can be arranged in 12 different orientations.

Bearings
Two spherical roller bearings to take care of radial loads and one spherical roller thrust bearing to take care of axial thrust.

Shaft seal
Gland packing with lantern ring arrangement. Also a separate expeller with the main impeller prevents entry of slurry in the stuffing box area.

Applications:
Liquid containing abrasive and coarse grained solids; magnetite pulp; ferro silicon pulp; coal and ash slurries; floatation tailings; sand water mixtures; and thermal power stations.

The company’s activities encompass an iron foundry, CNC machine shop and pump manufacturing. It exports castings, machined components, water pumps and valves to USA, Canada, Italy and the Middle East. The jobbing foundry makes grey and ductile iron castings, specialising in pump and valve castings. The company has an able set-up for pump testing.
