Grenco Engineers offers a multi groove variable pitch pulley use in Ash Slurry Pump Drives for ash handling plants in thermal power stations. These stationary / adjustable slurry pump drives are capable to give a wide range of variable driven speeds by changing the PCD simply by turning a nut. The speed variation limit can be increased proportionately by using two or more driven pulleys. Both the types of V-belts, i.e., SPC, C, D section belts can be used for power transmission but power capacity depends on the sizes of pulleys diameter, number and section of grooves like standard V-pulley. Mounting and operation of slurry pump drives is very simple. It requires negligible attention and maintenance. This drive is manufactured as per customers’ requirement basis up to 750 HP at 1440 RPM motor speed. The range comprises of various diameter (3.4” to 17.2”), number of grooves (2 to 10) and section of V-belts (SPA, SPB, SPC and D).
