Kalyani Engineering Works is a major manufacturer and fabricator of spares, components, sub-assemblies and many import substitute items of hi-tech rotating equipment like pumps, compressors and other engineering equipment. Highly qualified and experienced technocrats have made it possible for the company to be approved for intricate/sophisticated machining of components/spares of critical nature for pumps, compressors and other hi-tech rotating equipment from 5 gm to 5 tonnes capacity. The company arranges castings, forgings and other raw materials from assured and reputed sources and strictly conforming to all standards and specifications. If required, it also undertakes entire raw materials under third party inspection or as per the requirement of the customers. Aviation and engineering industries: the company has succeeded in complete machining of critical spares/components like cylinder, piston, tie rods, etc., for aero engines of MIG-21 and 27 jet fighters for Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. These components always face very tough inspection as per parameters of aero engines, and the company has been awarded for Excellence in Aerospace Indigenisation by the Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies, Bangalore. It has also developed the machining for axle boxes and magnet frames for loco engines of "Shatabdi", "Rajdhani" and other superfast trains along with other components for Indian Railways.
