Chemical Process Pump ? GRP/PP Moulded ? Non Metallic

Marck Engineers has introduced a non-metallic GRP/PP moulded chemical process pump, a first in India according to the company. Applications: dilute sulphuric acid, concentrated HCL, electroplating solutions, caustic soda, seawater/brine solution, bleach liquors chlorinated water, pickling solution, dyestuff-filter press, water effluent treatment, etc. Design: horizontal, readily split, one-piece volute casing design, fitted with semi open impeller, single entry, single stage and in accordance with PIN 24256/ISO 2858/ISO 5199. Features: designed to suit extremely corrosive duties in the process and chemical industries; metallic performance in non-metallic material; GRP pump moulding at high pressure solid compression moulding, hence no chance of porosite, cracking; minimum wear and tear; heat resistance up to 150?C; and provision of mechanical seal/gland packing. Materials of construction: casing ? GRP; impeller ? GRP with SS insert; shaft sleeve ? GRP, ceramic, alloy-20, hastalloy B/C; bearing pedestal ? CI-GRFG-260; and shaft ? SS, EN-8, double ball bearing.
