Hydrodyne offers totally emission-free, flame-proof, explosion-proof canned motor pumps for high temperature hydrocarbon services. They eliminate the problem of mechanical seal failure due to coking, carbonisation and thermal shocks which are recurring problems in pumping of high temperature, hazardous and inflammable fluids. Canned motor pumps do not leak under any condition, on continuous or intermittent pumping; not even on pump failure. Hydrodyne pumps have been used successfully in many high temperature hydrocarbon services in a number of critical industries. The pumps require no couplings, no mechanical seals and run leak-free ,vibration-free and noise-free for years together. Carbon graphite / silicon carbide bush bearings are the only parts that come up for replacement once in a way with a minimum life of 4-5 years.
