S J Industries, an ISO 9001-2000 certified pump-manufacturing company, offers Polypropylene Pumps. The speciality of these pumps is that the impeller and shaft are single piece injection moulded which will avoid acid fumes damaging the base shaft. The impeller is provided with a special locking arrangement and if the impeller runs on the reverse direction it will not get unwound which, if it does, may damage the mechanical seal and impeller. The company uses Hastelloy-C sleeved shaft, which is superior to ceramic sleeved shaft used by competitors, and closed type impellers, which are single piece moulded for better efficiency and sturdiness. The impellers are dynamically balanced. 100% testing is done on pumps prior to dispatch. These are available as coupled and bare shaft polypropylene pumps in capacities: 0.5 HP to 20 HP, 500-60,000 LPH, with open and closed impellers and can be fitted with any standard motors. Monobloc polypropylene pumps are available in capacities: 0.5 HP to 7.5 HP, 500-25,000 LPH, with open and closed impellers and can be fitted with any standard motors. These pumps are suitable for highly corrosive liquids.
