Analogue Speed Follower for DC Stepper Drive

Superior Electric, USA, offers SS2000 OF oscillator and analogue follower, which accepts analogue input, eg, 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 10 V DC or ?10 V DC and gives pulse output. It can be used with all Slo-Syn stepper motor translator drives and most other pulse and direction drives including digital servos. The SS2000 OF has output pulse rate that is proportional to analogue input. The pulse rate is switch selectable from 1,250 pulses/sec to 160,000 pulses/sec. The user adjustable parameters are high speed limit, acceleration/deceleration and low speed. The oscillator has 230 V AC, 50 Hz input power. For speed control, customer can use control with potentiometer/control with differential input/control with user's voltage source. The applications are: pick and place, metering pumps, NC machines, grinding machine retrofit, etc.
