Pick n Carry cranes in various models such as C-8000, Hydra12, Hydra14, Hydra 8 and Hydra 10 are available from Escorts Construction Equipment. These are hydraulic mobile cranes with slotted boom.
- Simpson S-433 four cylinder, water cooled diesel engine or equivalent rated power for crane 49 BHP@ 2200 RPM (max continuous engine rating 59 @ 2300 RPM)
- Type ? Heavy duty transmission developed specially for crane application, sliding mesh, spur teeth gearbox ? six forward and two reverse speed with high and low selector lever
- Speed ? Travel speed 25 km/hr restricted as per safety norms (without load)
- Clutch ? Single plate, heavy duty dry friction type clutch plate specially designed for cranes
- Pump pin vane type hydraulic pumps
- Control valve ? 4-spool control value with built in pressure relief value for trouble free operation; and
- Hydraulic filter suction line has a 100 mesh inline strainer while return line has 25 micron full flow filter
