Atos S.p.a., has launched Atex certified Hydraulic Pumps. Atos pumps, PFEA vane and PVPCA piston, are certified for application in potentially explosive atmosphere according to ATEX 94/9/CE – protection mode Ex II 2/2 GD cbk IIC T6. They are suitable for application in category 2, surface plants with gas, vapours and dust environment: PFEA – fixed displacement vane pumps in 3 sizes with Pmax 300 bar and displacement from 10 to 150 cc3/rev; and PVPCA – variable displacement axial piston pumps available in 4 sizes with a wide range of hydraulic and proportional controls; Pmax up to 280 bar – displacements from 29 to 88 cc3/rev.
ATEX pumps are designed to comply with typical of offshore, chemical and energy, applications. Atos is a leading manufacturer of components and systems in electrohydraulics: the advanced technology that integrates hydraulics with electronics to improve the performances of modern machinery. A leader in pioneering electrohydraulics, the company offers today one of the most advanced lines of proportional valves which allows similar or better performances in comparison with servovalves whilst maintaining the typical benefits of proportional electrohydraulics: less sensitivity, coarser filtration requirements, intrinsic stability, easier servicing and lower cost. New digital servoproportionals are performing in thousands advanced applications: spool-sleeve accurated operation, closed-loop integral electronics, high response with excellent reliability, at the top of proportional lines.
