Crate Washing Unit

SS Engineers & Consultants offers a Crate Washing Unit. The washing tunnel is divided into four sections: pre rinse to eliminate foreign material; first rinse with raw water; hot detergent rinse; and final rinse with hot water. In the main washing compartment the crate is being washed with great intensity: its top and bottom part, the inside and outside and also its sides are all treated. This is achieved by two powerful spray pipes with nozzles. The water that has been used for rinsing, flows into the main tank and will be recycled: it is used for the refilling the water supply of the main washing sequence. Entrance and exit of the washing and rinsing compartments have been fitted with anti-splash flaps of man made fibres. The doors of this compartment can be opened, which makes the unit easy accessible for service or cleaning. After being laid on the conveyor chain the crates are being moved forward by a Stainless Steel or polyacetylene chain with ridges. This system provides an excellent washing result. Through the application of a cassette filter water is filtered very well, before it is provided for hot detergent section that can be easily removed, then recycled. Furthermore it passes a pipe filter to prevent the nozzles from being clogged up. The nozzles have been installed in such positions that the powerful spray produces a very effective and evenly divided cleaning cycle on all the crates that pass through the unit. The temperature of the cleaning water in the unit can be set in between 60-80Â°C. This well functioning regulation of the temperature in combination with an excellent moving process of the crate with a generous space in between; a great pumping capacity and many nozzles: provides washing result that definitely can be called excellent. The unit contains an indirect heating coil through steam/hot water as a heating media. Various models are available.
