Vico Scientific Sales offers Vacuum Pump Fluids, VICO? FLUID X-17. It is a diffusion pump working fluid. It is used in vapour booster pumps. It is the result R&D effort for import substitution. It is molecularly distilled and specially processed synthetic organic compound with a very low vapour pressure (5 x 10-8 torr at 20oC). It is very rugged and can be exposed to air around a temperature of 100oC without any danger of its decomposition.
