Thermal Transfer Printing Paper

Avery Dennison India Pvt Ltd offers Thermal Transfer Printing Paper, Fastherm Plus. This is a smooth, bright, white wood free paper with heat sensitive coating and a top coating to provide ink receptivity and protection to the image. The ink receptive and protective layer offers good resistance to moisture, fat, oil, etc. Adhesive: a general-purpose permanent rubber based adhesive featuring high initial tack and ultimate bond strength. Liner: a super calendered glassine paper with excellent strength characteristics.
Applications and use: The product is specially designed for use in direct thermal printing systems at various printing speeds. Typical applications include bar coded labels for pre-packed food, industrial bar coding and tracking.
Conversion/printing: The product can be converted by all conventional roll technologies including flexographic and UV letterpress. However, due to the thermographic properties, exposure above 50°C may cause premature imaging or discoloration. It is advisable to test inks and varnishes before conversion.
Shelf life: six months when stored at 22°C and 50% RH. As with all pressure sensitive materials, this product should be tested thoroughly under end-use conditions to ensure it meets the requirements of the specific application.
