Advanced Industrial Micro Systems offers an industrial on-line non-contact ink jet printer, Model IJP- P2128, which is a zero maintenance, high resolution, four line (character height of 1 to 17 mm) printer. It has a fully stainless steel construction and can be installed on any porous and non-porous production line to print details of B. No., Mfg. Date, Exp. Date, MRP Rs., Time, Serial No. (Agmark), etc., on bottles, caps, pouches, labels, cartons, pipes, etc. Through the RS-232 PC link, it is capable of printing logos, barcodes, Hindi fonts and up to 8 lines data. This printer does not have any air sump viscosity control unit, filters, etc., so there is no maintenance required. It does not require separate make up or wash solution as everything is included in the disposable ink cartridges making it very user friendly. The running cost is very low at only about 250 impressions per rupee.
