Electronic Marking Systems

A manufacturer indicates an acceptance of responsibility for his product by marking it with his company name and logo, the origin of manufacture, standard of quality, together with information such as instructions and safety regulations. Only if products are so marked can they guarantee quality, safety and pollution control. In many cases it is not sufficient to list the product information on the package; only the marking of the product itself relays the correct image. In the TTM electronic marking system, marking is generated by a controlled low-voltage current, which is conducted through the impression of a stencil. This creates an exact image on the product to be marked. The TTM system has the following features: products made out of steel and non?ferrous metals of all kinds can be marked ? whether they are hardened, steam treated, burnished, nickled, chromed or whether they are large or small, flat or round, convex or concave in shape; the marking is durable and precise with a good contrast; dark marks can be created black up to 6 microns deep; the marking does not cause any damage on the product surface; and superior long-life stencils for large production batches, where high quality is required, are manufactured to customers specification, with a quick delivery schedule.
