Bow Roll For Wrinkle Removing/Slit Separation

Belmark Industries offers bow roll for wrinkle removing/slit separation. This is also known as also banana roll/spreader roll/rubber curve bar expander/segmented type bow roll/metal expander/mount hope type roll). Bow rolls are available in hard chrome surface, rubber surface and also Teflon covering for non-sticking applications. Hard chrome surface bow rolls are used where speed is more than 300 mtrs/minute. If the speed is more, bigger diameter is used to reduce the speed of the roll. Bow roll works only when there is proper lead-in and lead-out distance and the roll kept in proper warp angle with web material. To do such warp angle adjustment, all rolls are supplied with bow angle adjusting worm/worm wheel gearbox with hand wheel and a counter pedestal bearing block. By use of this it is possible to adjust the bow angle at 360 degree warp angle. When the roll gets maximum wrinkles removed, stop adjusting the bow angle and put the roll on bow locked position, so as not to change the bow setting. On the roll shaft bow position indicator, an arrow shows the bowed position of the roll. Applications are in paper/plastic HDPE woven sacks, polyester films/BOPP/aluminium foils, textiles/tyre-cord fabrics, textiles/non-wovens/technical textiles, etc.
