1/32 Din Auto-Tune Process Controller

Athena Controls announces a new addition to its XT family of panel-mounted universal process controllers. The XT32 Series is a 1/32 DIN (24 mm x 48 mm) microprocessor-based indicating controller. The XT32 offers accurate, closed-loop control of temperature and other process variables. It includes many control features found only on larger and more expensive single-loop controllers. With on-demand auto tuning, and complete On/Off through full PID functionality, the XT32 accepts inputs from K, J, and thermocouples, RTDs, and linear signals. Standard features include a large, easy-toread LED display, dual outputs, field-selectable inputs, process or deviation high/low alarms, and bumpless auto/manual transfer. On/Off output hysteresis is adjustable and the unit may be easily configured in the field to display process value, deviation or output percentage. Simple menu operation makes parameter setting and changing easy and fool-proof. The power supply accepts 85 to 265 V AC without transformer tap changes or polarity identification.
