Mica Paper Tubes

Chhaperia offers a Mica Paper Tube. It is a hard pipe insulating material prepared by using mica paper with silicon binder. Application: electric motor, electric appliances and resistors. Technical characteristics of muscovite & phlogopite: binder: silicone; thickness & tolerance: OD is +/- 0.20 mm, ID is +/- 0.10 mm; standard length: one meter; density (gm/cm3): 1.8; wall thickness: minimum 0.5 mm & maximum 13 mm; electric strength: for parallel to laminate (in oil at 90?C) - minimum of 22 KV/mm & average of 26 KV/mm & for normal to laminate (in oil at 90?C) ? minimum of 10 MV/mm & average of 12 KV/mm; insulation resistance: after 24 hours in water is one mega-ohm; and Water absorption: average 1.6 mg/cm2 & maximum 2.0 mg/cm2.
