Hydraulic Nipping Machine

Kalsi Machinery Co offers NIPP Master HN-310, a nipping machine meant for pressing the spine of a book to give it a rice shape. It is an ideal machine especially for hardbound books. The hydraulic pressure of approx. 5 tonnes does the nipping of the spine. Multiple strokes of hydraulic pressure can be operated to get the desired size of the spine. The nipping strokes and the time of hydraulic pressure are adjustable according to the need of the job. Technical data: book width – 310 mm; maximum book spine – 110 mm; minimum book spine – 10 mm; power requirement – 440 V; and total power load – 2.25 kW.
