Volumetric Filling Systems

Spanpak Systems, manufactures new concept volumetric filling machines. The filling speed is high since continuous discharge, multi-piston hydraulic measuring devices are used for each nozzle. It fills up to 90 cans of one litre per minute. The feature of the system includes absolutely dripfree deliveries through specially designed nozzles. Ensures rapid recycling of sequence as well as packaging and floor hygiene. The system offers considerable value for money since few mechanical elements are employed to convey and synchronize containers with filling positions. All other elements are stationary. Sustained accuracy of filling since positive displacement hydraulic devices and fast responding electronic circuits are used. Repeat accuracy is better than ?0.25% in volume of 5 litres. Unique facility to fine calibrate volumes between 250 ml and 5 litres in increments of 1ml through each nozzle instantaneously by facia mounted Flick Switches. Adjustments may be achieved without interrupting the filling sequence. This makes the machine totally flexible, universal and filler friendly. It has in-built pneumatic flushing facility for quick cleansing of entire system from buffer tank outlet to nozzle prior to change of product grade. Power consumption is low. Maximum 2.5 kilowatts consumes to fill 4 kilolitres per hour, which includes motive power for pumpage, conveyor and infeed rotary unscrambler for round containers, if used, and minimal power required for pneumatic and electronic circuits. Employs positive displacement volumetric measuring system with dedicated pumping unit and motor. This obviates extensive infeed pipelines above floor or below ceiling level. The new concept facilitates addition of extra nozzles for upgrading filling rates without addition of conveyor lengths or extra floor space. Facility of constant annunciation of production status through bottle count totalizer mounted on machine facia is provided. Non-contact electronic sensors assure No bottle No fill status to avoid spillage in absence of container. The filling system has a few moving parts, and its construction facilitates easy maintenance. It is available with filling range of 0.25 to 5 litres.
