Wraptech Machines offers a Sachet Packer, Model MB 150-1000 AFS 8T. This is an 8-track FFS (form, fill and seal) machine with servo driven auger filler for each track. Development and innovation: development of good stirring action in the common hopper carrying the sticky powder to break the lumps and ensure enough product availability for each of the auger screw. This was achieved through a combination of rotary stirrer in each of the lane moving around the auger axis and pneumatic actuated moving arms with flaps on either side of the screw axis inside the hopper; development of the right size of auger screw with reference to a given pouch width to ensure wrinkle-free pouch with good seal integrity and good output speed; development of dry, noise-free integrated gear train for the rotary stirrer for each auger screw lane; and development of string folding system through appropriate software development.
