Sealed Air (India) has introduced Instapak® TempGuard™ Cold Chain Packaging system. This is a higher-performance solution for saving money while shipping thermal sensitive products. Instapak® polyurethane foam is proven to insulate better than expanded polystyrene (EPS), keeping products colder, longer. This will allow users to save money by choosing more cost-effective shipping options. Instapak® TempGuard™ Cold Chain coolers can be custom designed to the exact specifications using custom moulds and the correct density of Instapak® foam. This cold chain packaging solution will balance performance and cost to save money on materials and freight. The engineering team in the company’s Packaging Design and Development Centres can also test the performance of customers’ cold chain solution with its TurboTag® RFID monitoring system. It all adds up to a more economical way to ship temperature-sensitive products. To ensure that products that are shipped overnight arrive at the correct temperature, this system can significantly cut the shipping costs.
