Dichtol Capillary Sealer

Diamant Triumph Metallplastic Pvt Ltd offers a Dichtol Capillary Sealer. Thermally sprayed coatings always have low residual properties and usually also crack. Due to this they are not gas tight and permeable to liquids seeping through the coating. This leads to corrosion occurring under the sprayed coating and finally deteriorates due to flaking. Additional consequences of this are the loss of corrosion resistance of the coating, decreased mechanical properties and consequently the wear resistance of the coating. Ultimately, the expensive coating does not survive its designed life expectations. To prevent this phenomenon, the coating has to be impregnated. The aim of sealing by impregnation is to close these open structural defects with a deep penetrating material. Dichtol is a capillary sealer which penetrates coatings deeper than comparable products. The easy and versatile application of Dichtol (brushing/spraying) allows for a reliable sealing – even on complex structures. Plasma arc spray and even HVOF coatings will resist premature failure by sealing with Dichtol.
