Barrel Filling System

San-Vij Engineers offers barrel filling system for filling barrels. It basically consists of a pump, turbine sensor and batch controller which displays quantity filled and switches off the pump when the preset quantity of liquid is filled into the barrel. When the Fill pushbutton is momentarily pressed, the batch controller relay is switched ON and the display resets to zero. The normally open contacts of the batch controller close and start the pump motor. Liquid starts flowing through the turbine sensor into the barrel. The batch controller displays the actual quantity transferred into the barrel. (similar to what is seen at petrol pumps). When the preset quantity of liquid is filled in the barrel, the batch controller relay is switched OFF which stops the pump motor and in turn the flow of liquid into the barrel. In case filling is by gravity flow, the electrical actuated valve is installed after the turbine sensor which is switched ON and OFF by the batch controller, controlling the transfer of liquid to the barrel.
