Agrofibre Packaging Material

Eco-Pack is the world's first truly environmentally friendly agrofibre packaging material for use with food, in medical and hospital environments, the automotive industry and many others. This is the first environmentally friendly and biodegradable product in the world to be made of more than 90% natural agricultural cellulose fibres, pulp free, emissions free and chemical free. Products are manufactured using some of the most advanced production techniques in the world. The raw materials are bio-composites, formulated from naturally abundant agricultural residues. Eco-Pack can also be plastic or wax coated if required and has undergone stringent tests for its treated water management properties. Hence it will retain liquids longer as well as the ability to store food that requires deep-freezing and heating directly into a microwave. During heating it does not require a high-energy consumption. Eco-Pack is certified for microwave ability to EU standards (German recommendation XXVI). It is fully printable and can be finished with a choice of colours, barrier or cosmetic laminations or embossing of words and graphics to ensure product appeal. Eco-Pack can be sealed using lamination film or plastic lids. With EU qualifications, 100% biodegradeability and a lower unit cost than paper, starch based fibres, moulded pulp or PP/PE – there is no better alternative to Eco-Pack.
