The advantage of Memory Barcode Scanners is that , that the barcodes are scanned & stored in device’s memory and the data of the whole batch is transferred together to the host system via PS/2, USB or RS-232 interface. Memory Scanners have a very small form factor and can read 1D/2D barcode. Scanned data can be stored in the ROM of the memory scanner or can be spontaneously transferred to host system over Bluetooth.
