Tapping Tee

Nanda Millar Company offers Kwik Tee – a range of Tapping Tees that allows flanged branched connections to be made to an existing water main, whilst it remains pressurised. Kwik Tee can be used in conjunction with all standard machines and practices. Features and benefits: permanent seal – unique grid pattern gasket, guarantees first time permanent seal; reduced stock – Kwik Tee features pipe outside diameter tolerance range of up to 26 mm, which means one fitting will suit the majority of pipe ODs with the same nominal bore; high strength – Kwik Tee has ductile or MCI bodies that reinforce the pipe line and help to form the seal around the full length of the tee; and ease of installation – quick and easy assembly, self retaining bolts and no special equipment required except a torque wrench to confirm correct bolt torque. Features and benefits: no costly mains shutdown – cost is reduced as the Tee allows flanged branch pipe connections which can be made to an existing water main whilst it remains pressurised; this avoids – any potential expense of informing customers of a shut down period, any pumping diversion expense, any dirty water complaints, which occur usually after any supply interruptions; corrosion protection – all components coated with epoxy paint/fusion bonded epoxy powder/RILSAN nylon II powder as per customer needs; pressure ratting – 16 bar working pressure; and , size range – DN 50/2" to DN 300/12".
