Pitot Tubes

Control Devices manufactures pitot tubes used for measuring velocity of both liquid and gas flow. This is possible by measuring the different between impact pressure and static pressure with the help of a manometer. A pitot tube consists of two concentric tubes, the inner tube being the impact pressure tube whose opening faces directly into the stream to measure the impact pressure. The outer tube consists of one or more rows of small holes on the circumference to measure the static pressure. Materials of construction are SS and brass. Other types of pitot tubes such as S-type (illustrated), double D-type and H-type are also available.
