George Fischer offers Piping Systems. It is used for all applications involved in power plants. In fossil burning power plants and incineration plants, cleaning of the raw gas is an important part of the facility. The combustion generates gaseous pollutants like sulphur dioxide. Flue gas desulphurisation is an essential key technology in environmental protection. Sulphur dioxide can be removed very effectively from flue gas, e.g., using the wet lime method. Limestone reagent reacts with sulphur dioxide from the flue gas producing a gypsum byproduct. The system is also used for process cooling and waste water treatment. Its features are: superior resistance to corrosion, incrustation, abrasion and chemical resistance (especially to acids); long lifetime even in outside applications is ensured; high efficiency - lightweight piping systems are easy to handle, weld and install; perfectly adapted components and jointing technologies mean faster installation time.
