George Fischer Piping Systems offers Pipes In PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride). PVDF is a high-crystalline, high-performance thermoplastic with an exceptionally wide pressure/temperature range. The SYGEF piping system in PVDF is a complete range for special applications, eg, high-purity water plants for the semiconductor industry. Range of sizes: 6-250 mm. Resistant to: acids, mixtures of acids, bromine and pure media. Recommended applications: pipelines for extremely hot and aggressive media in the construction of plant and apparatus and for industrial installations, furthermore for the distribution and storage of ultrapure liquids and gases (pressure-less). Not recommended for: caustic soda solution and alkaline solutions pH >12. Application limits for pipes and fittings in PVDF: 25-year values with design factor C included at 20°C water.
