Pipe Fittings – Instant & Easy to Cut

Luthra Pneumsys has introduced for the first time in India a unique rigid (non flexible) instant and easy to cut, non flexible rigid piping System, that is ideal to replace cumbersome GI/copper pipes and fittings. These are available in sizes 12/15/20/22/28/32 mm size. The John Guest system reduces time taken for assembly by almost 50%. The fittings are push fit type like the conventional fittings used in pneumatic applications, only the pipes are of rigid (non flexible) anodised aluminium material. The pipe has to be simply cut with a cutter and ‘push fit’ into the fitting and the connection is made. So, no soldering, crimping or screwing required like conventional GI/copper piping systems. The biggest advantage of these systems is that one can achieve 0% leakage in the compressed air system for as long as the system is up and running. The system can withstand a system pressure of 10 bar so can be used for connecting compressed air lines in factories, workshops, machinery, outdoor applications. The fittings being of acetyl co-polymer are FDA approved for food grade. So, the pipe and fittings can be used for pharma/mineral water/drinking water/food grade machinery, etc., using rigid nylon pipes, which are also available. As the fittings are reusable, they can be simply disconnected and used again without any problem even after years of being in service.
