High Pressure U-PVC Threaded Pipes

Ratna Plastics offers a range of high pressure U-PVC threaded pipes. Applications are for: rural and urban water supply schemes; agricultural and lift irrigation schemes; telecommunications; drainage and sewerage; in buildings as rain water pipes; industries; industrial ducting; air conditioning ducting, etc. Physical properties: special gravity/density ? 1.40 to 1.46 g/cm; impact strength @ 20?C ? 3 kg/cm2; modulus of elasticity ? 2600 to 3000 N/mm2; tensile strength ? 45 to 55 N/mm2; and vicat softening temperature combined flexural and compressive strength ? not less than 80?C. Chemical properties: Ratna rigid PVC pipes have got an excellent resistance to salts, acids, alkalis, organic chemicals, and fats. They are capable of handling water with a pH value ranging from 2 to 12; PVC being a thermoplastic, it withstands any deformation in shape due to excess heat of earth movements; and PVC pipes are totally immune to galvanic and electrolytic.
