Flare-less bite type fittings

Prime Engineers, based in Mumbai, manufactures flare-less bite type fittings that comprise of special ferrules for gripping the pipe in position. These ferrules bite the pipe"s surface to provide positive seal. They are slightly bowed in the middle and act as a spring. This prevents the loosening of the joint under vibration and strain. Technical specifications: Materials of construction: Steel IS 226 (phosphated); SS AISI 304, 316; brass and bronze. Size: 1/8" to 2" (4-50 mm) Applications: Steel for high-pressure hydraulic lines; brass and SS for pneumatics, high-pressure water and steam lines; and bronze for sea water.
