Khanna Industrial Pipes Pvt Ltd (KIPPL), the flagship company of the Khanna Group, is an ISO 9001 – 2000 certified company. It manufactures and exports high frequency induction welded pipes and tubes and has an installed capacity of 50,000 metric tonnes. These have various diversified applications across the oil, gas, infrastructure and general engineering sectors. The pipes manufactured by KIPPL are subjected to numerous tests, which certify the quality of the product. The company hold licences from the Bureau of Indian standard for IS –1161 and IS – 1239 and is equipped to supply as per various other international standard. Water and gas tubes are produced from low-carbon mild steel on automatic tube mill by high frequency induction welding process. The end uses are transmission of water, gas, oil and air. Brief specifications: size – outside diameter from 21.4 mm (1/2") to 114.3 mm (4"); wall thickness from 2 mm to 5.4 mm; length – 4 to 7 mtr; pipe ends – plain, screwed and socketed; surface finish – black (self - coloured), outside mill protective coating; production standards – IS-1239 Part 1, equivalent BS – 1387, ATSM A53 Grade A; packing – bare bundles; inspection – Mill's certificate or inspection by an independent organization authorised by the customer; tests performed – chemical test, mechanical test, hydrostatic test, other as required by the standards.
