Heat Cool Fin Industries offers Fin tubes & radiators. Finning is the process of fixing a ferrous or non-ferrous strip on through out the pipe length by tension wounding and brazing at the ends, in order to maintain a perfect contact between the pipe and fan material and an increased heat transfer area. Material of construction: tube material - fine material made of carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper. The size of tube shall be from 1/4"OD to4"OD and the fin height can be achieved depending upon the diameter of the tube, tentatively half the size of the tube dia. Types of fins: generally there are four different types of fins are produced: a. "L" type, b. "Plain", c. "G" type, d. "Crimp" type. Finned tube heat exchangers are known as radiators and are generally used for hot and cool air and such equipment finds application in chemical, petrochemical, refineries and similar other process industries.
