Water Hoses

Gates India offers tough, light and flexible Greenline water hoses recommended for all types of air and water applications requiring maximum flexibility in engineering industry, workshops, shipyards, irrigation, etc. These hoses are available in sizes ranging from 1/2" (12.5 mm) to 2" (50 mm) and exceed the Indian Standard IS:446 Type 1 and 444 Type 2. The tube and cover are made from specially compounded synthetic rubber and are black in colour. The hoses have reinforcement of high tenacity treated synthetic yarn for chemical bonding. The service temperature ranges from 40°C to +80°C. These are suitable for working pressure 12 kg/cm² with a safety factor of 1:3, ie, burst pressure 36 kg/cm² minimum. Gates hoses are especially compounded with Epigard, which outperforms general purpose rubber in every way, viz, flexibility, longevity, and resistance towards abrasion, heat, chemicals, ozone, weathering, etc.
