Oriental Engineering Works, an ISO 9001: 2000 and ISO 14001 certified company by TUV Cert-Germany, offers high pressure Thermoplastic Hoses, capacity up to 700 kg/cm2. The company can supply hoses from 2 mm (0.08”) to 32 mm (5/4”) with working pressure of up to 2800 bar. Claimed to be among the most extensive ranges in the world, hoses with 360 deg swivel end connections are also available on request. Hoses with parameters to suit customers individual specifications (length, working pressure, hose ID, end connection threads and shapes, etc), are also available on request, and hoses interchangeable with all international brands. The company was established in 1933 at Lahore (now in Pakistan) and began with the manufacture of cold start horizontal diesel engines. Relocated to its present premises after the partition of India, the company started making hydraulic equipment and presently manufactures high-pressure cylinders, pumps and hydraulic systems up to 700 bar (10,000 psi). A majority of its products comply with ASME B30.1-1998 and ISO 10100-2001, and are also CE marked. The accessories used also conform to SAE J 517 for hydraulic hoses and EN 837-1 for pressure gauges. The company represents in India: M/s Roemheld GmbH, Germany for hydraulic work holding/elements for jigs and fixtures for CNC machining centres; M/s Hilma-Roemheld GmbH, Germany for quick die clamping/changing elements, hydro-mechanical, mechanical and hydraulic vices; and M/s Plarad GmbH, Germany for hydraulic/electric/pneumatic torque wrenches, manual torque multipliers, etc.
