Wearing out of cover of a hose during application is a widely known reason for exposure of reinforcement and subsequently premature failure of hose. A hydraulic hose in use particularly in construction, earthmoving, drilling and mining operations always suffers continuous friction or banging with abrasive surfaces. So far protective metal or plastic sheathing was one of the widely used protections for hydraulic hoses being used in abrasive environment. But this process is inadequate in many applications. Rasvin’s new 'Robust' high abrasion resistant hose eliminates wearing out related problems once and for all. Various hose surface endurance tests have shown hundred fold improved resistance to abrasion as compared to presently available hoses. The hose cover wearing is negligible, ensuring much longer service life; and no protective sheathing will be required. Added benefits are in its high chemical, weather, ozone and oil resistance.
