Vijay Engineering Corporation offers a Furnace Hose. Applications: dielectric rubber hose specifically conceived for the delivery of cooling water during cooling processes of electrical transformers and frequency converters, normally used in steel mills and siderurgic/metallurgic field, the special outer glass fibre protection withstands splashes of incandescent material and radiation heat up to +400ºC, dielectric strength ?5000 V/mm. Construction: tube – EPDM rubber, clear colour, dielectric, smooth (dielectric strength ? 5000 V/mm); reinforcement – high resistance textile plies; cover – EPDM rubber, clear colour, abrasion and ozone resistant, covered with vulcanised glass fibre, option of ceramic fibre vulcanised cover which is suitable for +700ºC; marking – upon demand; temperature – from -35º up to +120ºC depending on media conveyed; safety factor – ? 3 times working pressure; and fittings – with pressed-in couplings, safety clamps, collars and/or other systems required by plant constructors.
