Exhaust Fans

The Globe Electrical Industries manufactures a wide range of exhaust fans that are high in performance and low on power consumption, available in industrial grey stove enamelled finish. Exhaust fans comprise of different parts like: 1. Motor – totally enclosed dust proof fan motor, pressure die cast aluminium rotor mounted on pre lubricated double ball bearings, silent operation and continuously rated motor operating on 230 V single phase or 440 V, 3-phase and 50 Hz AC supply; single phase motors are capacitor start and run, 3-phase motors are conventionally wound and star connected; 2. Impeller – four curved blades of deep draw sheet steel fitted on a robust aluminium die cast hub, mild steel shank in case of GE Series and GP Series models respectively; the impeller assembly is balanced dynamically to minimise vibrations; and the broad blades are angled for maximum air flow at low sound level; and 3. Frame – fabricated from sheet steel; the fan is suspended from the frame on rubber mounting which dampen any residual vibration. Optional features: louvre shutters – these are opened by the drought of the fan and are closed by gravity when the fan is switched off; acid alkali resistant treatment; fans are specially coated for applications where the fan is exposed to corrosive atmosphere; and IP 55 degree protection. Fans are specially constructed for outdoor application where the fan is exposed to rain and dust.
