Centrifugal fan

Noida-based Blowtech has developed belt driven centrifugal fans with forward curved wheels, ideal for air handling units, air washers and general-purpose industrial and commercial ventilation systems. These are of double inlet forward curve type. All sheet metal components are die-formed with the use of precision tooling. The housing uses "Pitts burg Lock" which is superior to spot welding and aerodynamically shaped inlets form an integral part of the housing side plates. Fan shaft is manufactured from high quality EN9 carbon steel and is ground to close tolerances for precision fitting on the impeller hub. The impeller-shaft assembly is mounted on to the housing using a novel system. This consists of imported, pre-greased, permanently sealed ball bearings with an eccentric locking collar, a moulded rubber housing and a set of 4 specially designed steel brackets. Rectangular angle iron side frames are bolted to the housing on both sides to improve fan rigidity and allow mounting of the fan in various orientations.
