Centrifugal Fans, Forward Curve Double Inlet

Blowtech Air Devices has developed belt driven centrifugal fans with forward curved wheels. These fans are ideal for air handling units (AHUs), air washers and general-purpose industrial and commercial ventilation systems. The currently available sizes are 12"x12", 15"x15" and 18"x18" with capacities up to 15000 CFM and pressures up to 60 mm of water. The hallmark of these world-class fans is precision. All sheet metal components are die-formed with the use of precision tooling. Both the impeller and the housing are made from high quality GI sheets. The impeller hub is of forged steel. The housing uses "Pitts burg lock" which is superior to spot welding and aerodynamically shaped inlets form an integral part of the housing side plates. Fan shaft is manufactured from high quality EN9 carbon steel and is ground to close tolerances for precision fitting on the impeller hub. The impeller-shaft assembly is mounted on to the housing using a novel system consisting of imported pre-greased permanently sealed ball bearings with an eccentric locking collar, a moulded rubber housing and a set of 4 specially designed steel brackets. Rectangular angle iron side frames are bolted to the housing on both sides to improve fan rigidity and allow mounting of the fan in various orientations. The advantages of these fans are - light weight, compact design, low-noise, vibration-free operation, higher operational speeds, low motor power and lower costs.
