Axial flow fans

Bangalore-based Airstream Systems Private Limited manufactures heavy-duty industrial axial flow fans that cover a wide range of air quantities and pressure. These fans are specially designed on the principles of aero-dynamics to meet the requirements of any industry for applications such as humidification, ventilation and evaporative cooling. Customarily, these fans are the first choice where large volume of air is to be handled at relatively low pressure and can either be used for supply or exhaust application. The axial flow fans are manufactured in various sizes and operate at different speeds spreading over a band of air quantities and pressure ranging from 3,000 to 2,00,000 m^3/hr and 5 mm to 60 mm WG. The impellers are made of cast aluminium alloy with high efficiency aerofoil section blades. The fixed pitch blades are firmly attached to a central cylindrical casing to ensure high efficiency and uniform flow of air completely covering the blades" space at lower power consumption. The exactly configured hub-disc minimises the air loss due to re-entry. The cast aluminium alloy blades of aerofoil design can be set to different pitch angles. This makes the fan more flexible and readily adaptable for wide variations in air quantity and pressure according to working conditions without exceeding the limits of installed motor rating. The thorough weld makes it strong and robust. The attractive enamel paint finish over & above metal primer gives good appearance. The impeller is coupled with foot-mounted type TEFE SE induction motor to work in 415 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz, AC supply. These fans are made to two types of arrangements such as wall or duct mounted type. Both wall mounted and duct mounted type fans are suitable for grouting on floor / ceiling / masonry wall with strong foundation bed. If site conditions warrant or on special request, the fans can also be supplied with belt driven or bifurcated arrangements for both the types.
