Roots Blowers

Vinayaka Engineers offers Roots Blowers. It consists of two lobe impellers, mounted on parallel shafts, which rotate in opposite directions housed in an airtight casing with inlet and outlet ports. The rotors are dynamically balanced to operate without vibration. One of the rotors is driven by external source while the other is gear driven from the first. The rotors are arranged by means of timing gears to control the relative position of the impellers to each other and maintain small but definite clearances. Its applications are: aeration and filter backwash in waste water treatment, pneumatic conveyance in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries and handling of a wide range of gases in the process and chemical engineering industries. Its application is also for ash handling & bag packing in cement industries.
