Regenerative Suction Blowers

Promivac Engineers offers Regenerative Suction Blowers, centrifugal and turbine type, available in single, double and triple stage in direct/V-belt driven versions. These are specially designed and fabricated to ensure high efficiency and trouble free operation and are highly resistant to severe conditions such as high temperature, corrosion and abrasion. These are available in different materials of construction such as carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, rubber lined, epoxy painted and FRP fabricated. Construction: an exhauster or blower consists of a rotating system of shaft and impellers operating in a specially designed casing with inlet and outlet connections. The shaft is made of high grade carbon steel, machined and ground to accommodate the impellers and bearings. The impellers are a composite section of casting/fabricated from high tensile aluminium, MS/CRC sheet, accurately balanced and are held securely on the shaft by heavy endwise locknuts. Advantages: straightforward single/multistage design; dynamically balanced impellers minimize vibration; no fine internal clearances or wearing parts; no lubrication required; air delivered is free from moisture and oil vapour; low noise level; low power consumption; air delivered is free from pulsation and is uniform; no need for relief valve; versatile – and can be used for suction and blowing. Applications: garment pressing, steam and condensate extracting, vacuum cleaning, dust/trim collection, pneumatic conveying, ventilation, air blowing and boosting, handling hot flue gases, agitation of liquids, and bottle drying and many more. Optional accessories: vibration isolators and flexible connections at inlet and outlet can be provided to minimise transmission of vibration; inlet/outlet silencers to reduce noise level and multivane damper for controlling air; and a suitably designed vacuum storage tank can also be supplied with the unit to act as a reservoir to store vacuum for instant evacuation.
