Air Blower

Shavo Technologies offers a high volume ionised air blower to control electrostatic build up on machinery processing non-conductive materials within the plastics, paper, textiles and packaging industries. The company is a sole distributor in India for these blowers manufactured by Meech Static Eliminators Ltd, UK. The blower neutralises electrostatic charges, in some cases well over 2,00,000 V, that can pose risk of sparks or shocks to operators and also attract dust from up to a metre away. When installed at the winder of reel-to-reel processes, the system also improves the lay on quality by eliminating any tendency for the material to wrinkle and, when subsequently unwounded, to misbehave. The new Meech 930 ionised air blower incorporates a high volume, low-velocity fan and AC ionising bars, providing gentle air movement able to counter electrostatic charges at a range up to 600 mm. Static electricity can build up quickly in plastics and other nonconductive materials processed on rotating machinery, raising safety problems at various points and also attracting dust, which affects quality. This blower offers a simple bolt-on solution.
