Fried Krupp AG HoeschKrupp has introduced in the market an impact drier enabling simultaneous powdering and drying of bulk goods. Applications are in the chemical, cement lime stone and stone and sand industries. It prepares limestone, marl, clay, manganese ore, chalk and charcoal. The drying is done in countercurrent with a high degree of thermal activity. The process of drying is facilitated by size reduction which is achieved by the impact of the beating arms of the rotor and the impact on the hanging baffles.
