Cole-Parmer India offers RapidVap® Vacuum Evaporation System. This reduces samples for agrochemistry, mycology testing, and environmental testing. It can process up to 110 samples at once; microprocessor-controlled motion minimises bumping and sample loss. Alarm sounds when time expires or when sample has almost reached dryness. Models 26854-10 and -15 feature a lid heater that eliminates condensation and improves visibility when evaporating high boiling point solvents. What’s included: three feet of ½"-ID vacuum hose, two hose clamps, lid receptacle, and a 6½-ft three-wire cord with plug. The 115 V AC models include a 20 A plug; 230 V AC models include a 15 A plug. Require evaporator block, vacuum pump, and sample tubes, order separately. All units are available with an optional RS-232 link that allows you to set parameters via computer. Highlights: 1000-watt heater quickly reduces samples to dryness or an endpoint volume; convenient, easy-to-set programming - stores up to nine programs; uses a combination of gentle forces – vortex motion, heat, and vacuum – to process multiple samples; sets time, heat, and speed via keypad; and programming feature allows users to alter parameters while a program is in progress.
